Dr. Li’s Biography

Dr. Ye Lin is a reliable, compassionate, and diligent dental provider who believes that excellent care begins with listening. Known by colleagues, friends, and family for being thorough and caring, Dr. Lin takes pride in creating a calm, supportive environment where patients feel understood.

One of Dr. Lin’s most meaningful professional experiences involved working with a patient who had significant dental anxiety. By taking the time to build trust and patiently address concerns, Dr. Lin was able to form a strong bond with the patient and ultimately spark their interest in orthodontic treatment with braces.

Dr. Lin’s interest in dentistry began during undergraduate shadowing and volunteer experiences, where the combination of science, problem-solving, and helping others made a lasting impression. In addition to a Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Lin holds a Master’s degree in Biostatistics, bringing strong analytical skills and a comfort with numbers to clinical decision-making.

Dr. Lin chose to practice with Willamette Dental because of its well-organized structure and established systems that support high-quality, consistent care. Outside the clinic, Dr. Lin enjoys spending weekends at parks and beaches, drawn to beautiful scenery and time in nature.

Dr, and assistant changed. Dr is fine so far but assistant probably not much experience. She pinched my gums 3x with tools. It's very hurt.

I have concerns with my daughter being able to receive appropriate care. I am worried that they went ahead and placed braces onto my daughter and then told me at checkout that they are unable to book any appointments and she was placed on a wait list. They should have communicated that beforehand and suggested we postpone installation until they get providers because now my daughter has a wire poking into her cheek and they said they don't have any openings. So we are having to try to sort it out on our own. Also concerned with getting proper care and appointments at correct intervals to make treatment successful. They also installed a palette expander and when the doctor came in to check it, was told that she normally has the manufacturer cut the "arms" of the expander off. This resulted in her needing to cut one of them off while it was in her mouth already, and left the other one to watch. It was not a smooth time getting it cut and she had to use multiple tools attempting to do so.

I have always been met with kind and professional front desk people. Also have been pleased with all of the providers I have seen. This past appt they were unable to give me a follow up because too many changes and schedule not open for the following weeks. Not her fault and she was very upfront with me. She said she would call me in the next week when the schedule would hopefully be open and there would be a provider available.

The Ortho team was calm and caring, answered our questions, and accommodated our needs. My son is anxious about dental/Ortho visits and everyone put him at ease this visit.Thank you. The waiting room could use a deep clean. There were a lot of live and dead bugs near the windows. Ortho appts often have very long scheduling timelines, which can be challenging and significantly delay treatment time. This seems to be primarily for longer length appointments or shorter term followups. I appreciate late afternoon appointments, so the kids don't have to miss school.

I was surprised that the new orthodontist didn't not check my teeth carefully without my retainers out as it was my first time. Last orthodontist mentioned shaving off some of my teeth for some space on my next appointment , but it didn't not happen with this new orthodontist in this appointment

In my last appointment, the scanner wasn't working and I wasn't told until I got there. I would have preferred to be told beforehand, like before leaving my house, as I had to drive for one hour and a half to the clinic and back. So that was wasted time. So that's something that could be improved. Thank you.
