Dr. Smith’s Biography
All of those incremental moments in dentistry are satisfying. But it’s that instant of reveal when the braces come off that can make Dr. Smith most grateful. It’s a fulfilling career when you’re able to witness life-changing events and tears of joy.
He’s honored to be part of Willamette Dental, where everyone goes that extra mile and gives a little more to make patients feel relaxed. Dr. Smith has wanted to improve smiles and help others through dentistry since the sixth grade and as long as he can do what he loves and fill weekends with family, he’s happy.

Dr.smith and team are excellent . I am not a fan of the social rooms for ortho care where you could be there with 2 other people besides yourself with your kid all in the same room. I prefer privacy and your own room, like it is in the other dental care areas.

I had a 3:40 appt and the dr didn't check with me until 4:10. I had another appt afterwards so the delay was frustrating.

I've said before that the availability for appointments is very limited and restricted. One is not able to change it easily as life changes or an urgent matter happens with the braces. Having one provider only really limits the availability. That's is why I give a 1 to recommending willamette. Dont be cheap. Have another provider fill in when Dr. Smith is out (which seems more often than not).

You can improve by having more time slots or more providers, so it's not so difficult to schedule follow-up appointments, or if you have to reschedule, it's impossible to get in before two months out.

Dr. Smith and Neiva answered all our questions about my son's treatment. They always go above and beyond. We love coming to our appointments, each time we come we are greeted by the front office with smiles!

There was an issue with one of the tools being very uncomfortable for my daughter and the team pivoted and came up with a solution that was much more comfortable for my daughter. They also took the time to make sure she was comfortable and answered all our questions.

The experience is great. The providers are friendly and knowledgeable and the office is clean. The only area of improvement would be for Willamette Dental to stop badgering me for input.

Troy was great! So was his assistant. I didn't catch her name though. Troy spent time talking to my son and helping him understand what he could do better to take care of his teeth with braces. They both also spent time talking to him about his tennis match which really made my sons day. You guys have good people working for you!

She spent a great deal of time waiting in retraction for Dr to arrive, then Dr to leave mid way to attend another patient, then to leave patient side again. Appointment went much longer due to this and she was uncomfortable

Both the Nampa and the Meridian office have a team who show that they care about my concerns and are very kind, open and helpful. So glad we went back to Willamette Dental.
