I have been with Willamette for many years based in Corvallis OR, and have always been given excellent care. I have also had the privilege of receiving the same excellent experiences at the the Albany site, and also 2 other sites in the Portland areas, and again enjoyed the same excellent treatment and professionalism. You folks ROCK !!!!! I will never go anywhere else. I really appreciate the excellent care that l have received from Willamette Dental. I had a very bad experience when l was a kid. I kept telling the dentist that l was hurting, when he was grinding on my tooth. He told me that he had given me enough numbing and that the pain was just in my head. He kept grinding, even after l had complained 3 times. He told me that l needed to get tough, and that if l kept stopping him, that he would never get done. He continued to grind on my tooth until he hit my tooth nerve. At that point l reacted to the pain by jumping clear out of chair. I left the office and walked home. I never went back. I never forgot it either. That very old dentist should have retired many be for this. After that, l was a picky patient, but eventually l learned that there are a lot of really good dentist out there. So when l say that Willamette is excellent, l really mean that. Thank you very much.

The employee who took the X-rays was condescending. By the end I think she realized it and said "thanks for being a good sport". Too little too late.

The hygienist could have been more gentle. She was super nice, but my mouth hurt a lot the rest of the day.

Dr Wrolstad is the best! I've been seeing her for years and I appreciate the continuity of care very much. Amy the hygienist was professional and answered all my questions thoughtfully.

The scheduling process was easy, but the first appointment I could get was very far in the future.

This office books out pretty far, like 2 months. I ended up getting in sooner due to a cancellation, but in general, it's a disclosure I give people when recommending this office.

A thousand stars for the exceptional experiences here, every time! I can't say enough how grateful as a parent I am for the experience my daughter has had. Same for me, but as a parent it's so great to have this kind of care for my child. Thank you for being the most amazing staff at that fine establishment.

I love this place! Everyone is so nice, from the front staff to everyone else! Izumi and Jennifer were amazing! Very personable and so kind! They made me feel very comfortable as I am so nervous with dentists in general. And as always Dr. Wrolstad is amazing!! I am so grateful for this team!! It's changed my entire view on the dentist!! I'd do an ad for you all if needed - because this team is amazing!

I love Dr. Wrolstad and speak highly of her always. She is kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable.

Having to wait weeks for an appointment while in pain for an issue I spoke to them last year about and was told to come back if the first thing they tried didn't/stopped working was painful and unnecessary. Quicker appts for ppl in pain are necessary. You shouldn't need to be in excruciating pain and have to drug yourself to get a quicker appt.

The only issues I encounter with Willamette dental are the booking process, that there's, by the time we call to book, the booking slots that are available are generally off the radar, off your booking. So I would just suggest that a way to fix that could be for regular patients with the clinic, particularly those who come back every year, on a reasonable, like a 12-month check-up timescale, that they get pre-booked in advance. Even if it's just a normal booking on a day 12 months out, that would lock your regular clients in and avoid them getting frustrated with booking issues.

I am always so grateful for the good care I get at the Corvallis office. Dr. Wrolstad and her team are efficient and helpful and this visit was no exception. Thank you!

Amity and her team are amazing; they work together real well and were engaging to me. I had a repair done to my upper partial and they made sure the fit was right.

Patient ought to have a say in the decision making process. Threatening to submission by the provider is not a kosher way of decision making.

I was pleasantly surprised how calm and comfortable I was during my time in the chair because I have severe dental anxiety and the doctor was very patient and gentle

Lisa the dental hygienist was funny and very knowledgeable about teeth care. She made my anxiety decrease by keeping me distracted!! Best dental hygienist I've ever had!!! My dentist Amity is amazing as usual!! She even asked the orthodontist Dinesh Reed to come in and look at my son's teeth real quick. Reed had no problem doing so and was knowledgeable about the treatment for my son's teeth. What I loved best about all three of these 3 is that they definitely love their job which makes the whole experience a 10+!!!

I was nervous to ask but I did not wear any kind of protection during X-rays. I'm in the autism spectrum and struggle to speak up for myself. I just hoped technology made it so you didn't have to wear it even though the tech still leaves the room.

Your staff is great. The fact that I have to wait weeks or months for an appointment is what I dislike about Willamette. I did however get in on a last minute cancellation which I appreciated.

My dentist is the best. My dentist always is always so concerned for my dental hygiene and teaching me better ways to take care of my teeth. My dentist does some of the best work when working my teeth. My dentist always make sure I'm comfortable and I don't feel any pain and that I'm OK while I'm in the chair and I really appreciate it..

The dentist explained clearly what was going to take place before the procedure and updated me on her progress as she was working. It was a short notice repair of an old filing and they were able to get me in quickly and everything went very smoothly. I'm extremely happy with the process and the results.

The staff at the Corvallis location is beyond amazing! The front staff knows me by name and is always smiling when I arrive. There have been many times I have called and spoke to Ashlee at the front desk. She always calls me back when she says she is going to even if it's just to tell me she doesn't quite have an answer from my doctor yet. That's hard to find these days. Dr. Wrolstad is always wonderful and patient with the kids. I appreciate your staff so much.

Wonderful experience!

I had a great visit. My hygienist was friendly and did a great job - no pain at all despite some pretty serious scaling to remove tarter. They got me in on time and out the door in a timely manner. No complaints at all.

I have anxiety when it comes to visiting the dentist, as I think most people do, but Dr. Walstad is really the best. She always makes me feel comfortable and ok with perscribing meds to help me through those tough visits. Every other dentist I have had has made me feel childish about it but not her and her team. I credit her with not just saving my teeth but also my sanity. Knowing they will take care of me with respect and kindness is a testament to what wonderful people are in the Corvallis office. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Love them!

Excellent Care

Gentle, thorough, informative and professional . The concept of a 'pleasant dental visit' is not an oxymoron.

My dental assistant and dentist are great! But every year when I try to make an appointment for my ANNUAL exam, it takes multiple phone calls and it usually takes 14 months to get an appointment. This year I complained to PEBB and I got an annual appointment. I should not have to call PEBB; you should abide by your contract.

I said in the questionnaire before my appointment that the reading off of the gum numbers made me anxious. They were very good about explaining the terms to me and reassured me that my gums are healthy and I'm taking good care of my teeth. I appreciated that!

Dr. Wrolstad is just the best. I would recommend her to anyone. 10/10 best dentist!

The staff in the Corvallis office are great! All very friendly and professional. The only draw back with dealing with your agency is not being able to call them to set up my appointment directly. After getting an email reminder to schedule my annual exam, I waited weeks for them to get back to me. Calling the central answering service is combersome and time consuming.

My apt was when it was dark outside and it was my first time there. There was no lighted signed. It took me a while to find the building. Also the signature pad did not have a light in it and you couldn't see when you were signing.

The hygienist was fantastic, probably the best one I've ever had. Amity's great. My main gripe is scheduling. It's a nightmare. I actually went to another dentist for a while because when I walk out, I go in every six months. When I walk out on the other dentist's office, my next schedule was done six months out and I was good. Just scheduling with you guys is a nightmare. You try to schedule two months ahead or a month ahead and you just can't get in. And then it's not at the local office. We had some confusion about transferring x-rays from where I was going in Brownsville to Corvallis and I didn't know I needed to bring them. That was because stuff is done in the central office and then the local Corvallis people don't know or the word doesn't get to me.

It is hard to get appointments. My visit was less than 30 minutes, still i had to wait 2 weeks. That is very concerned , because they are overbooked and have no openings for emergent situations.

Although I needed a service that Willamette Dental does not offer, they gave me the best alternative until I can find treatment elsewhere.

My dentist in high school was able to remove a tooth with the same roots and didn't need to go see an oral surgeon, so I guess dentist have taken a few steps backwards

Dentist was great, location was great. I dislike how we have to make appointments, rather than calling the location to make the appointment. Wait times for getting an appointment are long.

So I really love my dentist. I had a great experience at the dentist's office. My only concern with Willamette Dental is it took a very long time to get my appointment. And when I called originally to get my appointment, they wouldn't even put me on the books. They said that they would call me back. And it took them about two months to actually get me on the books. So that's my only complaint in terms of the ease of getting appointments. But the quality of care was fantastic.

I was very disappointed with how long it took for me to get an appointment. There was really no reason given for the delay. I kept being told that there weren't any appointments available. My actual appointment was excellent, as always.

I like that my dentist really cares about me as a person. She knows my family and my kids and I know she's very busy but she always takes a minute to check on things and I just really appreciate the relationship along with the high quality of care. Dr. Wroldstad is one of the most professional and helpful dentists I have ever seen in my life. I am proud to have her as a family dentist to myself and my children. Amity Wrolstad is an amazing dentist. I would recommend her to anybody. However, trying to get in and get an appointment in a timely manner is not something that happens. Usually it's way out for getting appointments.
