Dr. Kwong's Biography
Dr. Kwong is very involved in organized dentistry and believes it is the key to improving and advancing the profession. She is currently on the board for the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry and the Dental Foundation of Oregon, and is actively pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. She is kind, patient, personable, and has a very calming voice. As a long-time yoga practitioner, she understands the power of pausing and taking deep breaths.
Dr. Kwong became interested in dentistry during her senior year of college. She loved science and educating people and found a passion for working with her hands, making dentistry the perfect career choice!
Growing up, Dr. Kwong had a lot of dental work done, and wants to bridge cultural and communication barriers for the Asian American community regarding the importance of preventive care and oral health. That is by far her biggest passion and what she loves most about dentistry.
