Dr. Hussein’s Biography
Hussein H. Fakih, DMD is known by his peers as hardworking, kind, empathetic, and professional. His passion for dentistry began in childhood when his pediatric dentist helped ease his own fears about dental care, inspiring him to provide the same comfort to others.
One of Dr. Fakih’s proudest professional moments came when he worked with a patient who was extremely anxious about dental treatment. By taking the time to explain each step, answer questions, and create a sense of transparency, he helped transform their fear into trust. For Dr. Fakih, moments like these are what make dentistry truly rewarding.
Outside of the dental office, you can often find him exploring the outdoors – whether hiking or visiting the coast. Nature provides him with a sense of calm and adventure.
Dr. Fakih chose to join Willamette Dental because of its commitment to conservative, patient-centered care. He values taking the time to build trust, understand patient concerns, and make each visit as comfortable as possible.

I felt like my needs weren't fully addressed. I left home with a mouthwash and that was it and my problem still is persisting. And they didn't fully listen to how bad my pain was. Told them it's been difficult to eat and everything. So just being prescribed a mouthwash for it left me still in pain and disappointed. I have to make another appointment to readdress the same issue I was hoping to address my first visit.

The hygienist was excellent - professional and skilled. However, the dentist spoke to me like I was a child. He needs to work on speaking to his audience.

I just think that with my dental issues that it takes a very long time to resolve my tooth or teeth problems. I started a root canal procedure during the summer and I still have not completed my root canal and have to continue to take antibiotics due infection keeps coming back. Appointments are too far apart. My last appointment was canceled due to illness.

This doctor I had, I can only remember his first name Hussein. So great. Explained everything and the reasons why he would do things. I haven't had an experience like this since I was at The Weidler Office and my first dentist over ten years ago. I understand the staffing issues, but this had been my best experience in years. Thank you.

the office and hygienist were not kid friendly at all. we waited 45 minutes for our 3 year old to see the dentist and he was expected to sit in the chair surrounded by stuff he couldn't touch for that whole time. we won't be bringing him back to this office

It would be really helpful if I could book my next appointment on the way out. Even though you send reminders, it is much more immediate to set a time while it is fresh on my mind. Please open up appointments 7 months out.

I have always been treated very well at Willamette Dental my kids and I have been going here fir over 20 years I am also have anxiety from my childhood dentist So I would always every time recommend you folks !!

The doctor was kind, patient, and compassionate. He took ample time to listen to my concerns and answer questions. He asked the other dentist on staff to take a look at my tooth to get a second opinion. I really appreciate the care I received from both dentists yesterday.
