Dr. Alwattar’s Biography
During his gap year before dental school, Dr. Alwattar worked as a patient care advocate at Willamette Dental in Spokane, where he was raised. That experience introduced him to the organization’s collaborative, evidence-based approach to care and confirmed it was the kind of environment where he wanted to practice. He is a graduate of the University of Washington’s RIDE program and is proud of the additional training he received to better serve his community. Gentle and easy-going, Dr. Alwattar enjoys getting to know his patients and supporting their individual dental needs. He’s excited to return to Willamette Dental, where he can provide individualized, holistic care while building lasting relationships with his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Alwattar enjoys spending time with his wife and family, volunteering, watching and playing sports, exploring nature and the outdoors, and trying out new food places.

I felt welcomed and taken care of right from the moment I stepped in the door. Friendly staff at the front got me checked in, the assistant and hygienist were very sweet and told we what was going on every step of the way. The doctor eased my concerns and was very informative.

The new dentist that treated me was outstanding. He was very patient and listened to my concerns and corrected the problem with professionalism. Upon completion he asked if there were any concerns and I pointed out further issues which he immediately corrected. I want to say thank you to both the dentist that treated me and his assistant.

Very long wait to get my call answered. 40 minutes or more, last time I called it was the same. Use to not be this way.
