Arpita Talwar, DMD is a thorough, caring, and approachable dentist who is deeply committed to patient-centered, preventive care. Known for her calm and reassuring demeanor, Dr. Talwar strives to create a comfortable and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care.
Dr. Talwar built her career with resilience and dedication to learning. After earning a healthcare master’s degree in Canada, she trained in dentistry while working full-time. Her disciplined approach and hands-on experience led to a successful dental career and a strong ethic of care.
She chose to practice with Willamette Dental because of its commitment to evidence-based, preventive dentistry and its focus on long-term patient outcomes. Dr. Talwar values collaboration, mentorship, and consistency in care—principles that align closely with her own professional values.
Outside of work, Dr. Talwar enjoys staying active through gym workouts and long walks, as well as spending time with friends and family cooking, watching movies, and exploring new restaurants.

Staff was amazing, the dentist seemed rushed and didn't really address my concerns. Was also told that I would be put on a prescription mouth wash but never got an Rx.

It was fine. Staff and dentist were nice and competent. There was mention at my daughter's last appointment that her loose tooth would be pulled at this appointment if it hadn't fallen out yet, but when I asked about it I was told there wasn't time. I also was told she would be referred to orthodontics at this appointment and was told at the appointment that it would be discussed at the following appointment, which is months away. And we may or may not be able to see the orthodontist that day, it depends on how it's scheduled, but we can't schedule until sometime next month. It's a little confusing and frustrating since we are driving and hour and a half to this office and I have to take off work and get my daughter out of school. I was hoping for more follow through.

Having to wait 8 weeks for an appointment to get a crown is ridiculous. Get more dentists at this location.

Willamette Dental is fine for basic dentistry but any other issues appear to fluster them and they don't appear to know how to do referrals to an oral Surgeon or make recommendations or even know what they are doing.
