Dr. Nguyen’s Biography
Dr. An Nguyen, DMD, MSD, is an orthodontist dedicated to proactive, patient-centered care. Inspired by his own experiences with oral health challenges as a teenager, he developed a passion for preventive dentistry and helping patients build confidence through healthy smiles. He chose to practice with Willamette Dental because of its collaborative environment, strong support system, and commitment to high-quality care.
Outside the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys reading, cooking new recipes, staying active at the gym, visiting local parks, and trying new restaurants.

The orthodontist did not come out to speak to me directly about the concerns of my son not using his Invisalign properly. He had one of his technicians do it. And we were told if he doesn't come back within four weeks in the new trays that they will discontinue Invisalign with us and it was almost like an admonishment and it was towards my son and me and I would have rather spoken to the orthodontist.

It took a long time to schedule an Ortho appointment. Literally, I had to wait for 6 months to have a consultation appointment for my daughter after multiple calls to the office and was told it was short staff. I had to file a complaint before I got to be seen. I hope WD group should staff up or do better staffing management to prevent service disruptions for customers.

I appreciate that a seat has been provided for the parents in the orthodontic area. It was much easier to connect to the orthodontist and ask questions. Thank you. The front desk could still use some improvement.

Since I been with willamette dental I have about 3/4 doctors.I have no trust in your healthcare provider. Schedule is hard to make. I have new doctors I didn't even know his name. Only one that's was talking to me person putting in rubber bands. She's was kind. Honestly I don't know who my doctor or new person is because all he's said to me was do wear your rubber bands?! Overall experience with willamette I have lost trust with guys along times goes. Office people great but your guys schedule I have miss so many appointments because you would said we call you when their opening and months later NOTHING! I have to call in and bag to schedule

The Orthodontist was very kind and apologetic that my braces would not be coming off on this day as the scans for my retainers were distorted. Apparently they called my house while I was on vacation to leave a message regarding this issue. I was returning from vacation the day of my appointment, so I didn't receive the message. They normally call my cell phone, so I'm not sure if they tried that or not. But, I wasn't at my house to get the message, not that it would have mattered either way. The scans just had to be redone. So, the doctor did them herself to make sure they came through on the screen correctly before saying we were finished.

The new orthodontist in Lacey was thorough. He reviewed my past chart notes and treated my ortho care accordingly. He was professional and patient. He explained the treatment plan and the reason behind it. I'm glad he's with willamette.

The only concern that I have is that in two years I've had four orthodontists. But I think this last one whom I saw, he answered my questions and I think he's going to work with me well. Thank you.
