Dr. Vonderhaar’s Biography
Dr. Marnie L. Vonderhaar is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based dental care in a supportive and welcoming environment. She enjoys building trust with her patients by listening to their concerns, explaining treatment in clear, simple terms, and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit. During dental school at the University of Iowa, volunteering with the Iowa Mission of Mercy reinforced her belief that dentistry is about improving quality of life through compassionate care.
Originally from Iowa, Dr. Vonderhaar enjoys spending her free time outdoors hiking, fishing, and skiing, as well as exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

I had a most recently visited dental care and I was trying to make my appointment and I wish they had a more flexible time as I have to take a day of work to complete these appointments that I have scheduled so maybe if they can have flexible hours or maybe I don't know if they can work with the patients more. That's all. Thank you.

The dentist said she would not be my family's dentist because we declined xrays this time. We have always gotten them before, this was the 1st time. Seems like she wanted the money for the xrays. Pretty disappointed with her not allowing parents to make decisions.

My molar extraction was a challenge and your staff were excellent in making it happen. While it took an extra expert to make it happen and they had to take it out in pieces, they did it and did it well. I hated to lose the tooth, but it was great having professionals do it.

The dentist came to the appointment with her mind made up of what my diagnosis was based on previous issues. She was explain diagnosis even before looking at my teeth at all. I did not feel heard or given the chance to ask for more details.
