It took multiple calls and a month long wait list before being called with an appt. But my appt was scheduled about 6 months from my previous. So it worked out. My dental hygienist was thorough and did a great job. But the scraping work she did was more painful than any previous appointment in my life. I could deal with the pain, so I didn't say anything. But it might not be acceptable for others.

Kevin was great with Santi! Santi had previously been at a practice specifically for children, and I wasn't sure how he would do at Willamette which serves children and adults, but Kevin (especially) and Dr. Tajdar made Santi comfortable and happy. Thank you.

Compassionate and understanding

With only one exception, I have always been handled so gently and respectfully at Willamette dental, in Lents, Portland, OR. I have far less fear because of how gentle and professional they are. Thank you!

It took several month to get an appointment and I only got one due to a cancellation. I had 72 hours notice for the appointment. And I had to keep calling to see what I wasn't getting an appointment. I was not told when I should come back. Very frustrating

I have had a deep-seated fear of dental work for almost 50 years, and I felt like I took the first step in overcoming that yesterday. I have never experienced such compassion at a dental office. I have been shamed, judged, and even reprimanded for my emotional reactions at dental offices throughout my life, and yesterday was the first time I have ever felt heard and respected. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I love the providers, very impressed by their professionalism. I've been frustrated with the scheduling. I need to be seen every three months but sometimes I'm only seen every six months.

I have been told for several months that the office would call me to make an appt, because there was scheduling issues. No one called, I finally got in after I called (4th call to Main number) and the main WD number found a cancelation. However, I now have a cavity from a broken filling, which should have been caught earlier. I am not happy with the scheduling at the Lents location.

I have extreme anxiety about about my dental needs. I have been so blessed though in finding my current dentist. I used to need medication just to get to the dentist office, I'm now medication free at my dental appointments and this is because I have total trust in my current dentist. She is so good !

Willamette either takes on too many patients or has poor organizational skills but waiting months for an appointment is unacceptable.

Again , Dr. Tajdar and her crew were awesome. I have been with her two years and she can never retire , lol. I do not fear going to the dentist and I know I will be heard and respected.

I had a great experience at Willamette Dental with Dr. Tajdar, Phuong, and Tina! They put me at ease, especially since it had been since the pandemic that I had my last cleaning. I was nervous, and they took the time to talk through numbing solutions I was comfortable with, which was awesome. That was the best cleaning experience I have ever had. I notice that they are very natural in their approach to your teeth healing and not being too quick on fillings. Great recommendation on a treatment plan, I look forward to going back. Highly recommended.

The dental hygienist that worked with my son was amazing. He made him laugh and comfortable and he experiences high anxiety at the dentist and did very, very well. And the dental hygienist played a big role in that.

There is never parking!!! I think emplyees park there when they shouldnt. I dislike WDG but thats the only choice, it seems that docs dont last whatsover i hate it but i hate the most the parking lot issue

Everything went well. I really appreciate it. It's just appointment time. It took me like two years to get an appointment and that is not good. But everything else was extremely excellent job.

Lents is far away--much farther than the old Weidler office, but otherwise great experience.

My Dental Hygienist and DDS were very professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable during the experience.

I really liked my doctor. I was given a referral for an extraction, but it's been 2 days since my appointment, and I still haven't received a call from the Tigard office to make an appointment for the extraction.

I have been referred to Cascade Oral & Facial Surgery to have my top teeth pulled in preparation for dentures at Whittemore Family Dentistry. These two need to coordinate, but before we can start Willamette Dental must get referrals to both. Instead of a few days last time this took a month. Please expedite these referrals. This is a long process and I would like to get it going.

I'm happy with the treatment and glad that I can bring my daughter back for a six-month check up. Waiting a whole year was too long for my liking.

Both team members were so considerate of my light intolerance and accommodating, helped explain things as we went through the triage appt and did an amazing job with the removal of a cracked tooth and root. I really appreciated everyone wearing high quality masks. I felt very respected and cared for as a trans person as well

Dr. Tajdar is wonderful. Due to throat cancer and the radiation treatment I went thru back in 2015 has made it a bit of a challenge to keep my teeth in the shape they should be. She has helped me and continues to guide me in the best ways to keep them healthy. I consider her part of my umbrella care team that I have watching over me. I would go to no one else , well unless it was her suggestion , lol. Thank you!!

Do not appreciate being told my dental issues wouldn't be so bad if I came in when they say to. I told them that's the scheduling issue there very hard to get in. I find it somewhat strange the last 2 times I was in it was a ghost town middle of day. Not sure if it's scheduling problems or management. Then again I've only seen the office manager there once in 3 years. I know she was there this time because the lights were in and she was there. All other times no lights closed door no one home.

Everything was great, but it now takes so long to get an appointment. The first option for a followup is two months from now and the scheduler told me that the scheduling system wouldn't schedule it because it is too far out, so I am left hanging without an appointment. She did put me on a standby list, if someone cancels, but this seriously is not acceptable. If you want to keep me as a member, you are going to need to hire more staff so that there are appointments readily available like it was in the past.

Outcome remains pending. Dental work can be quite terrible. I'm trying my best not to let that color my opinions of the group or the provider, both of which have been largely excellent for me over many years.

It is impossible to get appointments with Willamette Dental. My son can't get braces because it's taken a year to get appoints through for a couple cavities (first it was suspected then confirmed now he needs to get them filled). Each time in between it takes MONTHS to get the next appointment. For myself I will need to make appointments but they can't go too far out so you'll call me to schedule so after phone tag and finally finding a time the. There no appointments available for months.

I wish they would schedule you for your next appointment while you were there or at least text you reminders and let you schedule online. Trying to get an appointment is such a mess every year and I end up going months longer than I was supposed to. All the people who I've met at the actual appointments are wonderful, friendly, and professional

I have a lot of issues with going to the dentist. All those tools and fingers in my mouth. Not to mention my tongue getting in the way. It's very gagging and chlostrophobic for me. Both the dentist and hygienist were so kind, patient and understanding with me.

Everyone was great! Friendly, informative and efficient.

The only issue I had was in rescheduling my appointment. I'd had to cancel, but when I tried to reschedule, someone in scheduling told me that they weren't taking new appointments at that time and that someone would call me when the window was open. They never called, so I finally called and managed to get something scheduled.
