The dental assistant was lovely, kind, compassionate, and professional. The pediatric dentist was anything but that. He wears his emotions on his face and clearly disagreed with the choices I made and am making for my child. I understand he is a dental professional and trust his dental recommendations, but for the emotional well being of my child I will make those choices. He aggressively talked down to us, was not informative, tried scare tactics including playing a video for us to show how difficult the procedure would be in hopes to have us agree with his recommendations. My daughter has had dental work done previously and I am experience with how she handles it, he is not. He was rude, even my young daughter commented on his attitude when he left the room. Absolutely not the way to gain trust in a child. My daughter was very willing to work with the dental assistant because she was calm. The dentist was intimidating and harsh. He acted like an emotionally abusive parent playing the silent game to express his disappointment. My daughter, who was minimally anxious about the dentist (as most people are), is now crying stating she doesn't want to go back and see him asking why the dental assistant can't be the one to help us.

Dr. Nguyen was amazing. He explained several treatment options, giving his opinion on which one he thought would work best but ultimately let me decide. He listened carefully to my concerns. His DA Michelle was amazing with my son as well. My son didn't do well on his last routine visit but Michelle kept him at ease.

I had a great experience with Dr. Nguyen and assistant Dalia. They are both very patient and very welcoming and for that reason my daughter loves coming to the dentist!

It's ridiculous that we had to be at the appt an hour early just to sit there until the actual appointment. If they were going to see her 15 mins before the appointment we should arrive at that time not 1 hr early especially with a toddler who has to fast the night before. When asked why we had to show early I was told because the provider was going to come out and periodically check on us and ask questions. Well that didn't happen, they literally came out 15 mins before the appointment and then immediately brought her to the back. I was given different instructions on how the operation was suppose to go and for that I was upset and cranky because I wasn't given the right information on how the visit was going to go.

I only ask that if you request me to check my child in an hour early that their appointment starts on time. We probably were waiting 30-40 minutes after his scheduled time to be seen. I do understand that things happen that can be out of our control but if I have filled out paperwork work and questionnaires prior to the appointment online for anesthesia I should be able to check in 10-15minutes prior to the procedure being done an not have to sit with a not patient 4 year old. Thank you.

The doctor, he was really friendly and, yeah, it seemed like he was friendly with my son, too. So, way better than the other dentist that I saw at the other office. So, I really like that about the doctor.

So hard to make appointment. They said they put an awaiting list, but they never give you a time frame even if you're in a dangerous situation like my son. He's already done drink his antibiotic for infection, and he had infection again and doctors know about it, why they put everyone on the waiting list? The doctor said it took up 6 weeks, but from desk doesn't give me any information. They said they will mention this to the coordinator. That's what I get from there. So we have to wait no one knows for how long, bad service They didn't have business in front or they just doesn't want to share this information with patients? Very weird.

He was very condescending and lectured me for what felt like 20 minutes. Worst experience ever.

Your team was awesome with my grandson who has autism and was very scared. They took their time and let him calm down each step of the way. THANK YOU ?

The dentist did a great job explaining everything to me. He was understanding for the needs of my child and his disability.

The Doctor brought in other dental professionals to help assist my child and myself to accomplish our goal of a full dental examination. They were extremely patient and professional, checking in with myself (the parent) to make sure I was okay and comfortable with what was happening. I would highly recommend Willamette Dental when dealing with a special needs child.

My kids were very comfortable and excited to get there teeth checked great staff.
